Product Details

Indoor athletic and sports facilities require the optimal lighting levels to provide the competitors and spectators the ability to see the action clearly and compete in a safe environment. The lighting design and fixtures must deliver uniformly lit competition surfaces without creating glare or dark zones.

LED indoor sports and competition lighting also provide the facility with “instant-on”, unlike the traditional delay for warm-up time found in so many gyms, natatoriums and recreational facilities.

The KURTZON™ IS-R-LED troffer is designed for recessed applications with a housing is made of either aluminum, stainless steel, or cold rolled steel. For durability, the door frame is hinged by aircraft cables and secures to housing with captive stainless-steel pan head screws.

The troffer is also IP65 rated for dust and water ingress and is suitable for 1700 PSI high pressure hose downs. It is also ETL listed per UL_1598 for wet locations and Chicago plenum rated.
