Product Details

Illumination in medical facilities is an essential component of creating a safe environment that meets the rigorous needs of healthcare applications. Emergency rooms, examine rooms, surgery rooms are among the multiple areas that rely on the correct levels of brightness, distribution, and color for physicians and medical personnel to do their jobs.

Healthcare lighting not only needs to provide the proper lighting environment the fixtures also must adhere to cleanroom standards that protect against contamination and particulate accumulation.

The KURTZON™ ML-FGPA-LED is a 2×4 Plenum Access LED Surgical Troffer with asymmetric distribution. Designed for patient and exam rooms, the fixture has an Alesta-AM antimicrobial polyester powder coat finish using a silver ion antimicrobial process. The Continuous Row Mounting (CRM) option provides a means of securing luminaires to each other end to end in straight rows. CRM fixtures come with flanges on 2 of the 4 sides so that the luminaires can mount to each other without the appearance of a larger gap between the two fixtures.

The troffer is ETL Listed per UL-1598 Wet Locations, suitable for non-IC installation, and IP-65 dust and water jet resistance. It also meets Military Standard 461F compliant for conducted and radiated emissions.
