TL-FGRS-LED-VIVARIUM-TW
Tunable White TL LED Narrow-Spectrum Vivarium Troffers
Product Details
The correlated color temperature (CCT) of white light determines how the light is perceived by the human eye. The terms warm and cool are frequently used when discussing the CCT of a light source. Warm lights, typically on the lower end of the Kelvin degree scale (K), are similar to candle light or the incandescent lights that were prominent for decades. These lights, which range from 1,800K to 3,000K have a yellow to orange glow that creates a warm impression. On the other end of the spectrum are the cool lights colors, which can reach 7,000K and sometimes deliver a blueish color. These colors at the higher end are often referred to as daylight.
Many light sources are manufactured with the ability to provide lamination at only one temperature range. Tunable luminaires provide the ability to adjust the CCT in real time to meet the needs of any applications.
In cleanroom environments, the numerous research and analysis functions that occur can require the light color to be adjusted to obtain the most accurate results. Tunable white light fixtures assist with this need in these demanding conditions. Laboratories also can require the circadian features that tunable light provide.
The KURTZON™ TL-FGRS-LED-VIVARIUM-TW is available with red only or red & white LED’s. Each color is supplied with its own driver for dual switching and white / red separately controlled circuits. The dual channel programmable drivers allow for color tuning of the white LED to achieve a desired color between 2700K and 6500K. The red LED’s provide a narrow 630nm, 660nm, or 735nm spectrum light for wavelength sensitive applications. The fixture is suitable for grid and flanged installation, and accommodates 1” and 1.5” T-Bar Grids with four adjustable toggle arms with holes for seismic support.
The fixture is IP65 rated for dust and water ingress and suitable for 1700 PSI high pressure hose downs. It is also ETL listed per UL_1598 for wet locations and Chicago Plenum Rated.
